Knowledge Management Services
Knowledge Management Services, as provided by the CASCOM G-6 Knowledge Management Division at Fort Gregg-Adams, seeks to fill knowledge gaps that the requesting organizations may encounter. We deliver online meeting capabilities through SKN-Live allowing for synchronous collaborations and knowledge sharing world-wide. Asynchronous communications are accomplished through the use of SustainNet and Knowledge Networks, a set of tools designed to allow discussions and research capabilities for Military, Civilian and Contractors using a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).

The Sustainment Knowledge Network is one of the Army's primary platforms for disseminating and facilitating the exchange of knowledge between Sustainers within the Generating and Operating Forces. It is an enterprise knowledge management and collaboration platform that links all aspects of Sustainment and Logistics across the full spectrum of the Army’s operational construct and provides the means to rapidly produce, share, and respond to the critical knowledge needs of our Soldiers and DoD Civilians whenever and wherever needed. SustainNet is one of the Army's primary tools for facilitating the exchange of knowledge between Sustainers within the Generating and Operating Forces. SustainNet is an Army Professional Forum, providing Sustainment and Logistics Soldiers, DoD Civilians, supporting contractors and other DoD services/agencies with the ability to leverage expertise, share experiences, and participate in discussions within Communities of Practice and Virtual Teams. Never before has the need to rapidly share knowledge to support the Warfighter been more important, and we solicit your participation in this important capability. To access SustainNet click here. SKN-Live is a synchronous and asynchronous service which integrates on-site video and audio recording, post production video and audio editing, a budgetary cost savings analysis, video archiving, and technical rehearsal and KM event support. By combining these services with those found in the Army and DoD enterprise service, (e.g in-browser web conferencing service, webcam, presentation sharing, desktop sharing, polling, recording, and a multi-user chat room) SKN-Live provides a highly effective virtual collaborative environment unique to the Sustainment Community. We support the CASCOM mission and vision by building and customizing processes and performance management solutions, developing policy, procedures and structure for content management.
