Culinary Specialist and Soldiers

As Deputy Commanding General CASCOM, United States Army Reserve (USAR), I am proud to announce the new Culinary Credentialing Program for 92G Soldiers. I encourage everyone to leverage their military and civilian experience in the food industry in order to obtain professional credentials that will enhance both your USAR and civilian careers. This program provides Army funded culinary credential testing for qualified Soldiers.

My intent is to utilize the over 170 American Culinary Federation (ACF) testing sites across the country to facilitate credentialing exams (written/practical) for qualified Soldiers. Progressive credentialing opportunites exist for the following levels of culinary experience: Certified Culinarian (CC), Certified Sous Chef (CSC), Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC), Certified Executive Chef (CEC), Certified Working Pastry Chef (CWPC), Certified Executive Pastry Chef (CEPC) and Certified Culinary Administrator (CCA). This partnership between the USAR and the American Culinary Federation will serve to increase culinary readiness and civilian career advancement opportunities.
