Systems Integration Division

Mission

Serve as CASCOM’s Point Of Contact & User Representative for training requirements and related documentation associated with the acquisition of new or displaced systems which are operated or maintained by Ordnance, Ordnance Missile & Munitions, Quartermaster, or Transportation personnel and provides this input to the appropriate activities on a timely basis throughout the life cycle of the system development process. SID is the manager and primary advisor to the Director, Training Support Directorate (TSD), for identifying and integrating new systems and new training technologies impacating Ordnance, Quartermaster, and Transportation Corps personnel.

SID has two branches: the Materiel Systems Branch and the Automated Systems Branch.

Responsibilities And Functions:

Provide Direction For The Development And Implementation Of Individual And Collective Training Products In Support Of New Or Emerging Systems.

Provide Input To Materiel Developer's Contracts, Statements Of Work, And Related Documents With A Focus On Combat Service Support (CSS) Requirements.

Identify Training Equipment Requirements to Support CSS Institutional Training of New Or Emerging Systems.

Participate In Developmental And Operation Tests, Software Development, And Acceptance Tests. Evaluate Test Player Training, And Prepare Test Readiness Statements.

Develop, Coordinate, And Update The System Training Plan (STRAP). Provide Details Of CSS Training Requirements And Concepts.

Provide Guidance To The Materiel Developer During In-Process Reviews, Supportability Integrated Process Team Meetings, and Technical Manual Development Working Groups.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise During Technical Manual Verifications, Software Verification, And Logistics Demonstrations.

Review And Provide Input to Basis Of Issue Plans (BOIP) IAW AR 71-2.

Participate In And Evaluate Instructor And Key Personnel Training (I&KPT), Validate Technical Accuracy And Usability Of Training Products.
