Sean P. Davis

Major General Sean P. Davis assumed Command of the United States Army Combined Arms Support Command/Sustainment Center of Excellence at Fort Lee in November 2025. MG Davis was commissioned in the Infantry as a distinguished military graduate from Valley Forge Military Academy and he holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute, as well as advanced degrees from Webster University, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the National War College.

During more than 33 years of service, MG Davis has served with distinction while assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Eighth Army in the Republic of Korea; and the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. His assignments at the tactical level include Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Battalion Personnel Officer, Battalion Logistics Officer, Company Commander, Brigade Logistics Officer, Battalion Support Operations Officer and Materiel Management Center Chief. MG Davis’s combat and operational tours include over 6 years of deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Israel and all over the Middle East in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, New Dawn, Inherent Resolve and Spartan Shield. His combat command experience includes Company Command, Battalion Command, and, most recently, Commanding General of the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command.

Other significant assignments include Executive Officer to the Commander, Defense Logistics Agency; Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, United States Army; Commander of the 59th Ordnance Brigade; Director 44 Supply G-4, US Army; Deputy Commander of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command; and Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, for the United States Army Forces Command.

MG Davis is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, the School of Advanced Military Studies, and the National War College.

His awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit (with five bronze oak leaf clusters), the Bronze Star Medal (with one silver oak leaf cluster), the Meritorious Service Medal (with four bronze oak leaf clusters), the Army Commendation Medal (with two bronze oak leaf clusters), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (with one bronze oak leaf cluster), the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Combat Action Badge, the Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, and the Army Staff Identification Badge.
