Major GeneralSean P. Davis
Maj. Gen. Sean P. Davis assumed Command of the United States Army Combined Arms Support Command / Sustainment Center of Excellence and Fort Lee Nov. 14, 2025. He was commissioned in the Infantry upon graduation from Valley Forge Military College in 1991. His early assignments included service with the 116th Infantry Regiment in Lexington, Virginia, and the 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Following completion of the Field Artillery Advanced Course and a tour with 8th Army in Korea, he returned to Fort Campbell to command Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
After attending the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) and the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), MG Davis served at Fort Hood, Texas, as the 1st Cavalry Division Materiel Management Center Chief and Support Operations Officer. He then served as the Support Operations Officer for 115th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st BCT, 1st Cavalry Division. He later commanded the 526th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and subsequently served as the Chief Logistics Proponent for the Sustainment Center of Excellence.
Following graduation from the National Defense University in 2015, General Davis held successive key positions in Washington, D.C., including Supply Deputy Director, Army G-4. After this, he served as the Commander of the 59th Ordnance Brigade, Fort Lee, and returned to Washington, D.C. as the Executive Officer to the Director, Defense Logistics Agency; and Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, U.S. Army. In July 2021, he became Deputy Commander of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, Ft. Knox, Kentucky, and later commanded the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command at Fort Hood from July 2022 to July 2024. He assumed duties as the U.S. Army Forces Command G-4 in August 2024.
General Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Virginia Military Institute, Master’s degrees from Webster University, the Command and General Staff College, and the National War College. His operational experience includes two deployments to Kuwait, five to Iraq, and two to Afghanistan.
