Command Sergeant Major Marco A. Torres assumed responsibility as the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command on 24 June 2022.
Prior to this assignment, CSM Torres served as the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command at Rock Island Arsenal, IL.

His previous assignments include the 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York; 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fulda, Germany; 13th Corps Support Command, Fort Hood, Texas; Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion, California; 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood;
1-52nd Aviation Regiment, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky; 45th Sustainment Brigade, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Fort Polk, Louisiana. His operational assignments include deployments to Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.

CSM Torres has accomplished all essential levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System to include Sergeants Major Academy Class 59. His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a dual Master of Arts degree in human resource management and leadership and management from Webster University.

His awards include the Legion of Merit with two oak leaf clusters, Bronze Star Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal with four oak leaf clusters and several other decorations. He has also been awarded the Combat Action Badge, Army Recruiter Badge, Mechanic/Driver Badge, and Air Assault Badge.
