Training Integration Branch

Mission

Manage the Training and Doctrine Development and Training Support Directorates contracted distributed learning interactive multimedia instruction courseware products and services. Develop in-house distributed learning computer and web-based courseware and training products within the software and hardware capabilities of the organization. Conduct the research and serve as the liaison between the CASCOM proponent schools and the Army Training Support Center (ATSC) staff during the production of multimedia products supporting the Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) Program and the DA Multimedia Visual Information Production and Distribution Program (DAMVIPDP). Provide the Automated Systems Approach to Training (ASAT) database oversight, administration, maintenance and training.

Responsibilities and Functions:

Manage the G3/TDD Distributive Learning (dL) Contracts:

- Prepare and review requests to initiate contract actions, contract requirement review packages, contract strategies, performance work statements, delivery orders and other related documents assuring that contractor developed materials are in compliance with terms of the contract.
- Monitor contract product development ensuring appropriate review of interim and final product deliverables.
- Ensure on-time completion of contracted products during the development phase and compliance with delivery schedule.
- Identify products and courses within CASCOM as possible candidates to be developed in-house and/or contracted out for development.
- Research, prepare documentation, and obtain resourcing for contractor-developed products.

Develop and deploy in-house computer-based, CD-ROM, and web-based interactive multimedia courseware and training products, directly supporting the training capability of the Quartermaster Center and School, Transportation School, Ordnance Center and Schools, Soldier Support Institute and Army Logistics University.

Serve as the Audiovisual Production Officer consulting with graphics personnel, television production and engineering experts and project managers during the development and review of the Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) program multimedia products.

Serve as the CASCOM lead for the DA Multimedia Visual Information Production and Distribution Program (DAMVIPDP) developed training products.

Oversee and conduct the Automated Systems Approach to Training database administration, maintenance and training ensuring the application of information security and assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of ASAT data management services.

Serve as the SCoE lead for the transition from ASAT to the emerging web-based Training Development Capability (TDC) database.
