U.S. Federal District Court (Traffic & Other Tickets)

General Information

If you have received a ticket from a Fort Lee law enforcement official, please read the following information:

The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate does not negotiate tickets. Accordingly, there is no one to speak with concerning the disposition of tickets. Ticketed individuals have two options: (1) pay the ticket, or (2) appear in court.

Individuals may call the Central Violations Bureau at 1.800.827.2982 if you received a ticket that shows "TBD" or "TBA" and you need to know your court date or if you need a copy of your ticket.

Individuals wishing to inform the Court of their desire to contest a ticket may contact the U.S. District Court in Richmond at 804.916.2234. The U.S. District Court may also be contacted regarding the continuance of cases and for further information regarding mandatory tickets (e.g. driving with suspended license, reckless driving, DUI, drug, or weapons charges).
